Benefits of DPC, Part 1 - Rx Savings

Most of you know that as your doctor, my favorite aspect of direct primary care (DPC) is the TIME that it affords. Plenty of time for me to spend with you - time to get to know you as a person, to dig deeper into your health history both for diagnosis and prevention, and to research your health issues after you leave the office. The membership model allows enough time in an appointment to address all of your concerns, not just one diagnosis. And enough time in my schedule to allow patients to access me for more urgent problems the same day or the next day in most cases. For many of you, this was enough of a benefit for you to decide that Hilts DPC is the right choice for you. Thank you!

BENEFIT #1:  IN-HOUSE MEDICATION DISPENSING

You will LOVE the fact that we dispense medications directly from our clinic! We are able to purchase generic prescriptions at wholesale prices and pass the savings along to our members. In a large percentage of cases, the prices are better than your insurance co-pay for Rx's, and better than the best price you can get through GoodRx. Plus, you leave the office with prescription in-hand and can avoid the pharmacy lines (and prior authorizations!). If we are not able to obtain your medication at a great price, we will help you to navigate the system to find the best price (we now have time for these things!). You are certainly welcome to use the pharmacy and your insurance as usual, if you prefer. We can send prescriptions to the pharmacy if it works better for you.
